Atari My Play Watch
Think fitness trackers have become boring? Atari is here to shake things up with the Atari 2600 My Play Watch, which combines the wearable basics with retro games.
The Atari 2600 My Play Watch takes cues from popular retro gaming handhelds but shrinks down the form even further, letting you play four bonafide classics from your wrist.
Those games are Centipede, Missile Command, Pong and Super Breakout.

They are based on the Atari 2600 versions of the games, released between 1977 and 1981. One obvious question: how do you control games usually played with a joystick, from a watch?
One of the watch’s side buttons is just that, a button. But the crown controller — which at first glance may look like a round button — acts like an arcade paddle controller. The Atari 2600 had its own paddle controller, which effectively combines a rotary dial with an action button.
It’s one of the most interesting parts of the Atari 2600 My Play Watch, with the potential to make the games feel relatively at home on the watch. Games almost never feel at home on smartwatches.
