It's not terrible, and maybe if it was priced at 1% of asking, I'd consider touring it before making an offer of $500k fully furnished just to take it off their hands, as long as they paid the taxes and insurance for the next decade or so.
Seems like a reasonable proposal, considering how farked up the economy has become, solely due to Orange Shiathead, in just three months.

I always wonder why such listings show up on Zillow. Your average nine-figure-price property buyer (or their employee) probably doesn't thumb through listings to find a new place. I would have thought such places sold exclusively through exclusive real estate agencies and maybe word-of-mouth. The pool of people that can afford such a place has got to be small enough to specifically target with methods much different from those used by your run of the mill RE agency that peddles slop like $400K starter homes and $1MM new build McMansions to the unwashed masses that need a mortgage.

Why, it's such a stunning, well-known piece of art that it's... on Zillow. For sale.
The architect didn't build this for a buyer. They built it because they could, expecting that buyers would race to purchase such a marvel. No one's showed up yet. It's been finished and unoccupied since the end of 2023.
Tavangarian began acquiring the land to build Villa Siena back in 2018, purchasing the first 1.3 acres for $11 million. He's expanded the property since then, and it was "largely completed" by November 2023, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Rather than list the home right away, Tavangarian said he wanted to make sure all the finishing touches were completed, including having all the furnishings in place, as his firm waited out a nadir in the luxury real estate market.
"We're in a little bit of uncertain times in our history, and I felt that I wanted real perfection and to have everything completely done," Tavangarian said.
Photos shared with KTLA show that no expense, or wild concept, were spared by Tavangarian and his company.
Now, all that's left is for a buyer to come forward, and as the Wall Street Journal reports, L.A.'s luxury market is already bouncing back. It could be only a matter of time before someone stakes their claim and lays roots down at Villa Siena in the hills of Bel-Air.
