Tesco shoppers could save over £30 if they switch from a popular beauty brand to a more affordable option that has landed in stores. A few have already tried it and say it's "just like the real deal" - only cheaper.
Posting a picture to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, a supermarket shoppers spotted the Skin Saints Body Butter which costs £4.50 for a 200ml tub and comes in three fragrances - Summer Soliel, Sweet Flowers and Delicious Dawn. Each cream is infused with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E - designed to revive and hydrate skin.
Each has its own distinct "tropical scent". Summer Soliel is infused with salted caramel and pistachio. Sweet Flowers mixes lychee and jasmine, while Delicious Dawn blends coconut and vanilla.
The supermarket also sells matching body sprays in matching scents to boost your chosen fragrance. Most shoppers noted that the products were similar to the popular Sol de Janeiro brand.
Its Bum Bum cream sells for £36 in Boots for a 150ml tub, meaning that Tesco's is bigger and cheaper. Shoppers were quick to react as the products appeared on shop shelves.
One said: "I thought it’s was good thick consistency and left my skin feeling so hydrated." Another added: "OMG, it's a need! Have spent so much on SDJ I need!"
Morte gushed about the products over on Instagram. A third person wrote: "I’m obsessed with this body butter!" Someone else commented: "Looks luxurious!" A fifth person said: "I've tried this and it's left my skin so smooth. The smell is just a gorgeous bonus!"
In other beauty news, shoppers at Tesco are also raving about a £6 cream that "turns dry skin into silk". Aveeno's Daily Moisturising Creamy Oil is proving popular with shoppers but it's been flying off the shelves as fans stock up.
You can order lots of these products online using Tesco's website. However, some are not available to collect or tag onto your weekly shop.
