Uzbekistan’s crypto industry contributes over 10 billion soums to the dudget in 2024 - UzDaily.uz

Tashkent, Uzbekistan () — In 2024, crypto asset service providers in Uzbekistan contributed 2.38 billion soums in state duties and an additional 8 billion soums in activity-related fees to the national budget, according to the National Agency for Perspective Projects.
Since 2019, total budget revenues from crypto service providers have exceeded 56.5 billion soums.
As of February 2025, Uzbekistan hosts 16 crypto service providers, including 11 crypto shops, three crypto depositories, and two crypto exchanges.
One of the exchanges, City Pay Gate, was granted a license in February 2025. In contrast, only one new license was issued in 2023, while nine were granted in the previous year.
