As the 2025 awards season comes to a close, the 97th Academy Awards will honor the year’s biggest films, drawing Hollywood’s brightest stars to the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Comedian Conan O’Brien is making his Oscars hosting debut, succeeding Jimmy Kimmel, who has hosted the ceremony four times, including last year. "We’re going to have a great show,” O’Brien told Kimmel during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “We’re going to have a great time. Things for me come together very late, so I started working on the Oscars about four hours ago and I’m going to pull an all-nighter.”

Leading the nominations this year are The Brutalist, Emilia Pérez, Wicked, Conclave, and A Complete Unknown, all vying for the coveted Best Picture award. Oscar nominees Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will take the stage for a special medley of songs from their blockbuster musical Wicked, with additional performances from other artists (check out the full list here).
Meanwhile, 2024 Oscar winners Emma Stone, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Cillian Murphy, and Robert Downey Jr. are also set to present tonight.
