Next-Generation DeFi Harmonix Finance Raises Funding from Skyland Ventures

Harmonix Finance, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform built on Ethereum, announced on the 10th that it has received funding from Skyland Ventures.
Harmonix Finance is an automated investment strategy DeFi platform that integrates risk management and advanced quantitative analysis to achieve sustainable high yields. It aims to recreate traditional financial mechanisms on the blockchain and create stable revenue opportunities in the volatile crypto market.
As of the third quarter of 2024, the company has achieved $100,000 in Total Value Locked (TVL) and offers unique financial products such as Delta Neutral vaults and option wheel strategies. While inheriting Ethena’s design philosophy, it features real-time performance metrics and strategy transparency. It also supports Hyperliquid, providing users with many yield-generating opportunities.
Users can deposit stablecoins such as USDC to earn optimized returns from multiple revenue sources. This system adopts a hedging strategy combining futures and spot trading to neutralize volatility risk. For example, the ETH Vault combines liquid staking tokens (LST) and futures short positions to maintain a net delta of zero. This approach reportedly recorded an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 119% during testnet operations in the second quarter of 2024.
Additionally, through partnerships with major restaking protocols such as KelpDAO, Renzo, and Base, users can maximize revenue opportunities across multiple networks without locking their deposited assets. This system, which utilizes Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRT), allows for diversified investments across multiple chains through infrastructure such as EigenLayer and HyperLend.
Harmonix’s security framework features a multi-layered defense structure of smart contract audits and real-time risk monitoring. Major contracts have been peer-reviewed by multiple audit firms, including Halborn and Certik, achieving a 99.98% vulnerability detection rate (in attack simulations as of the second quarter of 2024). The anomaly detection system analyzes transaction patterns at 0.2-second intervals and has a track record of preemptively detecting a flash loan attack attempt in August 2024.
Another feature is that it reduces gas costs between Hyperliquid’s L2 infrastructure and the Ethereum mainnet by up to 80%.
According to the company’s technology roadmap, they plan to launch an on-chain governance system based on the HARM token in the first quarter of 2025. Token holders will gain voting rights on proposals regarding Vault fee structure changes and the introduction of new strategies. Additionally, the staking mechanism adopts a design where governance authority increases gradually according to the token lock period.
In the second quarter of 2025, they plan to release “Harmony Bridge,” a cross-chain asset verification system utilizing zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP). This technology will enable asset transfers between Ethereum and Hyperliquid to be completed within three seconds, while reducing gas costs by 92% compared to conventional methods. At the same time, they will begin beta testing of BTC Vault, expanding the range of supported assets beyond ERC20.
